As some of you may be aware Carol Winger who was running the girls national is unable to do so this year due to some personal issues. A couple of years ago I approached Carol and asked if Moredon could help her run the event. I have myself raced this event many times and won the British Women's Championship in 1999. (a long time ago)
 
A couple of months ago Carol rang and asked me if I would still like the opportunity to be involved in the event as she does not have time to organise it this year. I jumped at the chance and have now booked to run the event on Sat 18th and Sun 19th September 2010 at West Kennett.
 
The event has only been advertised for a couple of weeks and already we have a few new girls from Sweden who want to come over and race along side our own UK girls and the Guernsey girls.
 
Carol has helped to contact some of the girls who have ridden this event in the past but to make sure we get to all of the girls in the BSMA and other organisations I need some help.

I have an idea to try and make the whole day to be women only, clarks, stewards, starters etc but I will need lots of hands to make it work or I will be shouting in my usual team of men to help trackside.
