This year looks like it’s going to be an exciting one. We have the Auto/Junior Challenge Cup. This was just for Autos last year but will include Juniors this time, it is run over four meetings and will have goodies and prizes to be awarded at the presentation on the 5th August at the East Trax meeting. Also this year we have added an 85s Challenge Cup. This will consist of prizes for top three and Paul Barrand has kindly offered to sponsor some training days for other riders in the 85s groups. More details to follow later.

We are running a 125/144cc Championship this year within the existing AMX group.

This year sees the Club moving over to transponders for recording results, many of the clubs in this region have bought the same system as we have, the Mylaps electronic timing equipment. The Club does have some transponders for sale, they are the Flex type and cost until the end of January £70 whereupon they will go up to £78. They do have to be renewed each year at a cost of about £37, but they are compatible with all Mylaps timing systems throughout Europe. Those that do purchase them can register their number on the Mylaps website which will allow them to see information about their own lap times etc. For more information ring Martin on 07966515158 or Karin on 07787544418

We are looking for a new Press Officer, any budding journalists out there please give us a ring, you don’t have to have a degree in English just the ability to write about racing and mention a lot of riders names but most importantly be able to get the reports in by 12.00 on the Monday following the meeting.
